BEGINNER LEVEL 1: Lesson 15 for Teachers

LESSON 15: BAPTISM

THEME: Life Application

VOCABULARY: own, faith, declare, decided, dedicate, important, decided, baptized, born again

STORY: There is a girl. Her name is Beth. She is 12 years old. She is part of a big family. She has three brothers and two sisters. Her brothers are 17 years old, 15 years old, and 10 years old. Her sisters are 9 years old and 6 years old. They all love to spend time together. Every Sunday the whole family goes to church. For a long time, Beth went to church just to make her family happy but she didn’t really want to go. After some time, Beth started to form her own faith.  She started to see how God moved in her family and friend’s lives. She decided that she wanted to dedicate her life to God. She knew that it was important to give her life to God and declare her faith as her own. One day she decided it was time to get baptized.  Beth decided that the next time her church held baptisms, she was going to get baptized and show everyone that she was making the decision to be born again. Beth waited three months, and she was very excited when the day finally arrived. She told her family that she was going to take this step of faith and be baptized. They were all very excited for her. That day she got baptized, and ever since then she has been living her life for the Lord.
