  1. Listen to the song “Jesus Is My Superhero” once without seeing the words.  Hold up the props
  2. Teach the kids the moves to the song (You can make them up yourself)
  3. Listen to the song and watch the video. Dance along with the video, and repeat this two or three times.
  4. Discuss the song. Who is our superhero?  Who is better than Batman? Who is better than Spiderman? What can we learn from the song?
  5. Play Four Corners.  Use the words: star, moon, superhero, and sun.  Tape a word in each corner.  Rules:  There is one person at the front of the room who sits facing away from the students with their eyes closed. As the teacher or student counts down (5, 4, 3, 2, 1), all of the students walk quietly to different corners.  Eyes still closed, the student at the front guesses a corner using the vocabulary word for that corner (for example: sun).  All students in that corner are “out” and have to sit down.  Then the students change corners again as the teacher/student counts down from 5-1. The game continues like this until one student is left, who is the winner.
  6. Have a student pray in English.
