1995
2011
Tom and Jen are college students visiting Cartagena, Colombia. While strolling the streets one evening, they see a paper bag up ahead, and to their horror find a small dirty street child sleeping inside! After considering their options, they carefully tuck some money underneath him, say a prayer for his safety, and continue on their way, forever impacted.
Tom and Jen move their young family to Medellin, Colombia, to serve as Directors of a center for vulnerable children and families. During the 7 years as directors of this center, God built the vision for full-time care for singles moms and their children, and the training and equipping of believers worldwide.
2018
Tom and Jen establish 911 Life Ministries in Medellin, Colombia with a small team of volunteers.
2019
The Youth Center, Micro-Enterprise Project, and 911 Worship are established
2022
Fearless English is established for vulnerable unchurched youth.
2024
We receive the first families into our full-time care project.
