LESSON 5: LIFE APPLICATION – MIRACLES

STORY: One day there were two brothers playing outside. They loved to run around and do lots of crazy things. One day they decided to go to the park and play. They found some fireworks and brought them with them. They thought it would be fun to play with the fireworks and make them go off at the park where no one would see them. They were laughing and having so much fun as they planned what they would do. They lit the first firework and it went off in the sky. It was big and they loved seeing it explode in the sky. The second one went off and landed in a tree. The brothers continued to laugh and have fun. One brother lit the last firework but it did not go off. He didn’t know what to do. He thought he probably should not go up to it but he didn’t want to leave it and have someone get hurt. So the boy went up to the firework and right as he walked up to it, it went off. The firework hit his arm and he was burned really badly. It hurt and he was in a lot of pain. The other brother knew what to do. He put his hand over the brother’s arm and began to pray. He prayed that the Lord would take away his brother’s pain and help heal the wound. The boy stopped crying and began to feel better right away. The brothers walked home carefully. By the time they got home the boy was already in less pain. They put some cream on the burn and prayed that by the next day it would be better. When they woke up the next day they knew that God had provided a miracle and healed the boy.
