ABOUT US:
The 911 Life Foundation is a non-profit Christian organization in Medellín, Colombia, whose overall goal is to prevent Human Trafficking and transform the lives of vulnerable women and children.
This is accomplished through our six Christ-centered projects which impact over 250 participants weekly and an estimated 5,000 people annually.
With 26 employees and 25 volunteers/interns, we are experiencing rapid growth in influence, impact, and scope.
We are seeking committed prayerful giving partners to join our team to meet the $27,000 monthly need.
OUR PROJECTS:
911 Worship is the heartbeat of our ministry. Fridays are spent in fasting and consecutive prayer leading up to the Vertical Worship Nights where our staff, clients, and many in the community connect with God. Our teams also bring worship, prayer, and evangelism to many of the city’s darkest neighborhoods.
In the 911 Hope House, vulnerable families at risk of Human Trafficking find refuge in our full-time Christ-centered care center where they receive psychosocial and spiritual care, medical care, education, nutritious meals, skills training, and much more.
The 911 Youth Center equips 60 children ages 6-13 in English, Math, Spanish, Art, Music, and Sports, and provides spiritual and psychological care to their families through home visits, counseling, and therapeutic intervention.
Our Women’s Microenterprise Program empowers over 50 women by providing training in sewing, cosmetology, and entrepreneurship, giving them the opportunity to support their families while building a foundation for sustainable living.
THE HOPE HOUSE FULL-TIME CARE PROJECT FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN
Our Hope House project provides the first full-time care center in Colombia for at-risk single mothers together with their children. These families have either been victims of Human Trafficking or are at high risk of being trafficked. Currently, 18 women and children call the 911 Life Missions Base home, with the goal of adding 4 more families in 2025.
Each family member receives nutritious food, a private living space, medical and psychosocial care, spiritual care, and education. The women learn how to provide for their families in dignified ways through our Micro-Enterprise project while also acquiring necessary life skills in parenting, nutritional cooking, finance, and business, etc.
90% of North America’s illegal cocaine trade comes from Colombia, and many international women and children are transported along the country’s major trafficking routes. Your prayerful investment in 911 Life helps to attack these problems at the root through prevention and early intervention.
GET INVOLVED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Due to the high success of transformed lives through our projects, 911 Life has experienced exponential growth since our inception in 2018, resulting in an exponential increase in our budgeting needs. With a projected monthly budget of $27,000 in 2025, we are asking God to provide committed monthly partners to prayerfully invest in this important work.
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US IN THE EXCITING ADVENTURE OF PARTNERING WITH GOD TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE!
