INTERMEDIATE LEVEL 2 – Lesson 13 for Students

LESSON 13: CREATE AND SPEAK 

ROUTINES: WHAT DO YOU DO EVERY DAY?

VOCABULARY:  brush your teeth/hair, sleep, wake up, practice, play 

STORY: Every day I wake up at 7 am. I get up and brush my teeth. I then eat breakfast and drink coffee. After I drink coffee I get ready for work. I go to work from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm every day.  After work, I coach a soccer practice. After practice, I come home and cook dinner.  Then I take a shower. I then relax for a while and go to bed. 

ACTIVITIES: 

  1. Review the Vocabulary Words .
  2. Listen to Audio 1  as you read the story.
  3. Think about what routines are. Routines are things that we do every day. Think about some of your routines, like brushing teeth, going to school, practices, working, homework, etc. 
  4. Write down your own routines in your notebook.

3. Have students share their routines as a class. 

4. End class in prayer.
