LESSON 26: HOLY SPIRIT – PETER
VOCABULARY: vision, God-fearing, speak tongues, prophesy
STORY: There is a man. His name is Peter. Peter is a good man. He has a good relationship with the Lord. There is also a man named Cornelius. He is a God-fearing man. One day he had a vision. In the vision, an angel told Cornelius to find Peter and bring him to his home. Cornelius sent three servants to bring Peter to him. Before the servants came to get Peter, the Spirit spoke to Peter and told him men would come and he should go with them. Peter went to Cornelius’ house. Cornelius asked Peter to teach him about Jesus. Peter told the whole family about Jesus. He told them how Jesus is God, and that He died for their sins and rose from the dead. After hearing about God, Cornelius’ whole family believed and they all were filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they began to speak in tongues and prophesy.
