LESSON 24: HOLY SPIRIT: LIFE APPLICATION
VOCABULARY: guidance, seek, study group, doubt, Holy Spirit fire,
STORY: There is a girl. Her name is Sarah. She is 12 years old. One day she was sitting in a study group learning about the Holy Spirit. She was learning about how much the Holy Spirit can help us. Sarah learned that it was important to seek the Holy Spirit and ask the Holy Spirit for help. She learned that when she asks the Holy Spirit for help, she can more easily make decisions and guide other people. But Sarah did not think she could feel the Holy Spirit inside her. She was very sad. She really wanted to receive guidance from the Holy Spirit. At the end of the class, the teacher asked them to all close their eyes. Sarah closed her eyes but still had some doubt. The teacher prayed for them all to receive the love of the Holy Spirit and said that the Holy Spirit would reveal himself to them somehow. In that moment, Sarah prayed with everything she had and asked the Lord to give her the Holy Spirit. All of a sudden Sarah felt a strong heat fill her. It was a heat she had never felt before. She started to sweat. The heat was moving through her whole body and she couldn’t help but smile. She knew that the Lord had answered her prayer and filled her with the fire of the Holy Spirit. She was so excited and couldn’t wait to tell everyone. She knew that she now was filled with a guidance she hadn’t felt before.
