BEGINNER LEVEL 2 – Lesson 1 for Students

LESSON 1: MULTIPLICATION OF FOOD

THEME: Healings and Miracles

VOCABULARY: bread, fish, loaves, enough, miracles, heals, towns, broke

STORY: There is a man. His name is Jesus. He is a very good man who helps a lot of people. Many people follow Jesus and believe in his miracles. Jesus heals many people. One day Jesus went to a place to be alone. Many people heard where Jesus was and followed him to the place far away from the towns. When it was time to eat, Jesus’ helpers did not know how they were going to feed the many people that followed them out of town. They asked Jesus what to do. Jesus told his helpers to feed all the people. His helpers did not know how they could feed everyone. They only had five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus knew what he was going to do. Jesus broke the bread and gave it to his helpers. His helpers gave it to the people. Everyone ate and ate and ate.  They ate as much as they wanted. Even after everyone was done, there was food leftover. There were about 5,000 people who ate that day. No one could believe it, but that is how good Jesus is. He performs miracles.
