BEGINNER LEVEL 1: Lesson 19 for Teachers

LESSON 19: MOVIE DAY – “CROSSROADS”

THEME: Forgiveness (this movie can be divided into two class periods)

ACTIVITIES:

1. Prepare some snacks and drinks for the students.
2. Watch Crossroads, a free online Hallmark movie about forgiveness, in English.
3. Discuss the movie:
   1. How did the students feel during the movie?
   2. What subjects or themes did it bring up in their mind?
   3. How did they feel at the end of the movie?
   4. Ask the students if there is anyone they need to forgive. Encourage them to do this.
   5. Ask the students is there is anyone they need to go to and ask forgiveness. Encourage them to do this.
4. Have a student pray in English.
